In 2030, as I visit one of our primary schools, I am immediately struck by the energy of a learning community that is ambitious, inclusive, and fully prepared for the future. Across all our academies, our vision is alive: every child belongs, every voice is valued, and learning is a deeply personal and transformative experience.

From the moment I step onto the school grounds, I see how far we have come. The environment is vibrant—children’s artwork, interactive digital displays, and collaborative projects showcase deep learning, creativity, and a strong sense of community. Schools are truly at the heart of the local area, bringing together families, educators, and partners to create opportunities for all. Our work to serve our communities is evident in every corner—from adult literacy classes running alongside breakfast club, to intergenerational gardening projects supporting both mental health and sustainability.

Inside, technology and artificial intelligence are seamlessly integrated to enrich learning. Every child has access to AI-driven personalised learning, allowing them to explore topics at their own pace while receiving targeted support. Teachers, as expert practitioners of contemporary adaptive teaching, blend real-time insights from AI with deep pedagogical expertise. They are learning architects—designing ambitious experiences that meet diverse needs and ensure progress for all. Nowhere is this more powerful than in our highly inclusive SEND provision, where personalised tools, adaptive pathways and multi-agency collaboration help every child thrive.

Walking through the school, I notice flexible learning spaces where children are immersed in inquiry-led activities. Some are using AI to conduct real-time science experiments; others are collaborating on climate action campaigns, tackling local sustainability challenges. A group of children in an immersive learning pod experience Victorian life through VR, igniting historical curiosity. These experiences are a daily embodiment of our Big Move: securing the highest possible outcomes for all, regardless of background or starting point.

I’m welcomed into a Year 6 classroom by a vice principal who I remember meeting as an Early Career Teacher years ago. She began her journey through our Trust’s graduate teacher programme and has grown into a confident and inspiring leader. Today, she’s coaching a new ECT—someone she mentored just two years earlier. Together, they’ve led a school-wide review of oracy and inclusion, informed by a professional inquiry supported by our staff development pathways. Their work is shaping practice across the Trust, a clear reflection of our commitment to fulfilling potential and influencing the system.

The school’s green credentials are everywhere—from the solar panels powering the library, to the edible gardens children help to cultivate. I overhear a group preparing a pitch for eco-ambassadors from other schools, collaborating on a zero-waste initiative that has already reduced the school’s landfill contribution by 70%. Our commitment to securing a brighter and greener future is deeply embedded in how we teach, lead, and live our values.

As the school day progresses, I witness a culture of care, inclusion, and leadership. Peer mentors support younger children with reading, well-being champions lead mindfulness sessions, and digital leaders help classmates navigate the online world safely. Staff collaborate in coaching trios, reviewing real-time insights from their classrooms and planning responses that drive progress. It’s clear that this is a place where being the employer of choice means more than a slogan—it’s a culture. Staff wellbeing is prioritised, workloads are intelligently managed through technology, and professional development is personal, purposeful, and powerful.

Throughout the school, diversity is embraced. Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) runs through every interaction. Children see themselves reflected in the curriculum, and staff feel safe to be themselves. We are intentional in building a workforce that reflects the communities we serve, and we work as #OneTeam, united by a shared mission and strong values.

At the end of the day, children reflect on their learning using adaptive digital journals, setting personal and collective goals with AI coaching tools. They understand their learning journey, and they have a voice in shaping it. They are not just preparing for the future—they are building it.

This is Inspire Learning Partnership in 2030: a place where innovation meets inclusion, where contemporary teaching meets cutting-edge technology, where every child and every educator thrives—and no one is left behind.
